2017 GTI Autobahn

Really nice car. A buddy got a 2017 Civic SI almost exactly when this car was purchased. While they are both in the same "hot hatch" category they are completely different levels. The GTI feels more planted, more refined and just about everything on the car feels nicer. It was $36,000 when new after all. And then there were several thousand in aftermarket parts added on. I never realized how nice Volkswagens were before I had this car. Did you realize cold air is piped into the clove box so your chocolates don't melt? What about the fact that headlights auto level when you start the car. Or when you're pulling into a parking spot there are little spotlights that shine to the side so you can see where you're turning. That's wild! Comfortable leather seats, incredible sound system, it's a quick car which makes driving fun, and on trips you can get 38MPG with the tune. And on top of all that it's probably faster than your buddy's mustang so you'll have that going for you and again all with incredible gas mileage in a super practical run comfortable car.
The tune really brought the car alive, faster throttle response and way better gas mileage. Sport mode really kicks it up but normal driving mode is plenty.
Mods:
MAP Cold Air Intake
MAP Catted Downpipe with resonator
RS7 Plugs
RS3 Coils
Cobb Access Port with multiple tunes
Additional parts:
Second set of Wheels and Tires. Currently has the all season tires on, but I also have the stock wheels which are shown in the first picture.
Dogbone insert, this is supposed to help with wheel hop if you want to accelerate quickly. I never installed it because I don't drive it like that.
Pros:
It's a quick fun car that gets amazing gas mileage
It's been extremely reliable
Heated seats
Incredible sounds system
Performance Package
Dynamic suspension control
Auto leveling headlights
Cons:
Dent on hood, see the picture, stuck backed into the hood in a parking lot and took off. I was going to throw a carbon hood on there but never got around to it.
Side skirt is loose see picture, I've had this car since 60k miles, it was like that when I bought it and has never caused any issues.
windshield cracked. There was a rock chip when I bought the car, that chip turned into a crack, I was going to replace the windshield if it got worse but it never got worse.
$15,000 is with both sets of rims and all the parts. If I don't get a good offer I'll look at selling off the aftermarket parts to get the price down a bit.
