Selling my 2003 MINI Cooper R50 with approximately 140,800 miles. This is the naturally aspirated 1.6L inline-four and has been modified and set up specifically for autocross and spirited driving.

The car runs and drives and has a number of performance and racing modifications, including:

Professionally rebuilt transmission
Modified racing suspension
Racing bucket seats with five-point harness setup
Roll bar
Quick-release/retractable racing steering wheel
Diamond-plate flooring

SCCA Autocross Setup: This R50 MINI Cooper was built and previously raced at the amateur level in SCCA Solo (autocross) competition. It features a modified racing suspension, racing seats/harnesses, roll bar, quick-release steering wheel, and race-prepped interior. The exact current SCCA class/bracket would depend on todays rulebook and classification of the modifications, so it is not being represented as currently certified for a specific class.

The battery is virtually brand new and was replaced only a few months ago.

Mechanically, the car runs and drives well. Everything works with two exceptions: the A/C does not work and the airbag is not functional. I'm disclosing both upfront so there are no surprises. Paint is ok, but not great, has some blemishes - see pictures. 

This is not a stock MINI but could be used as a daily driver. It's been my grocery getter for the last year and has been garaged. It's a fun, lightweight R50 that's already set up for someone interested in autocross, track days, or a weekend project/toy.

I also have a virtually brand-new set of four heavy-duty vehicle wheel dollies/car skates, approximately $200 new value. These can be included with the car as part of the deal.
